Ok, sorry if this is sad or offensive to anyone, it wasn't intentional. I just feel like a beached whale and I needed a picture to illustrate it. The feeling is enhanced by the inability to bend over and pick anything up. If I'm on the couch and drop a sacred piece of chocolate, too bad, I'm screwed. The dog has faster reflexes than me at this point. He wins this round.
If I'm riding in the car and for some reason the very pen that The Man needs to write down an important phone number from the person he is talking on the phone with happens to be at my feet..forget it man, your screwed. No matter how wide my legs might ( not) spread..it ain't gonna happen.
I do actually have real pictures of me..and my belly. I might be brave enough to post them. Maybe. But only because I am super excited to announce that we finally have one..something I have been asking for for like years...yes, a digital camera! I am so stoked. Now I can take all the pics I want and upload them immediately. I can email them to everyone and no one can complain about the lack of pictures of their grand kids. And The Man can never again gripe to me about the waste of one whole roll of film on the same child, wearing the same outfit, doing the same thing, on the same day. Yes..it is quite an exciting time.
So here you are my friends, and I call you that because I know you would never laugh at nor judge me on the vast expanse of my abdomen or the blinding white color of my skin..or the choice of shirt with pajama pant ensemble I happened to be flaunting at the time. Yes, you my friends would never do such a thing...
Hee hee..that is really funny. Please ignore whatever stuff happens to be clinging to my very ignored mirror and do notice the fact that my face is not in these pictures. I wasn't brave enough to show the belly and the non-make-uped face, along with the never done hair. It was just all too much! ;-)
Nine more weeks to go!!
Oh and Saturday we went garage sale-ing ( how do you spell that?) and Little girl happen upon a table laced with barbies. She picked up barbie and she picked up ken, looked at both of them for a few seconds and then proceeded to smash their faces together while making kissy noises. Did I mention she had never seen nor held a barbie doll in her life? I'm not sure who to blame here..Nature or The Mans incessant need for PDA. ;-)
Ashleigh you are hilarious! When I type LOL I am not usually laughing out loud but this time....Ba HA! And by the way, your belly is the farthest thing from beached whale. You look maybe 4 or 5 months pregnant TOPS. Geez. All you pretty pregnant people make me sick. ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Looking forward to that homemade wheat bread. =)
I only wish I looked that way when I am pregnant! You look amazing!
