Dec 9, 2008

We had a doctors appointment yesterday.

In my mind a few weeks ago, as I was on the phone with the nurse making the appointment, it made sense to get all three done with at the same time. In real life however, it turned out to be a rather big mistake. Two babies getting shots at the same time wasn't pretty! And a five year old boy is bound to assume that biohazard containers must be filled with exotic new candy not yet tasted by his ever sugar craving mouth. And if he could just climb on here and then scootch his way across here, he might just make it to taste it before mom busts him...WRONG!!! But all in all I was glad we went. I talked with him about the whole rice cereal incident and he was pretty sure it wasn't an allergy. ( although he also said vomiting wasn't a sign of an allergy. He definitely has never been around Little Girl when she has accidentally ingested peanuts, thats the first thing to happen, it all comes back up..all over the floor..) But I guess it took a lot longer for the rice cereal to re- appear, so he said
it must have just been something her stomach didn't like. ( uh..duh..) He said she was old enough and big enough to start eating other things though.

So last night I drove myself ( all alone..hallelujah!!) to the supermarket( who says that anymore?) and picked up some barley cereal, which is supposedly gentler on a babies tummy, and some various other containers of what used to be vegetables but are now colorful plastic boxes of slime. Before I put Infant girl to be we tried a little sweet potatoes.

Her reaction?

A picture is worth a thousand words:

Yea, she didn't like that too much! But, I would probably pull the same face if I had that stuff shoved into my mouth repeatedly against my will. It was so funny because she wouldn't swallow it, she would just sit there with her mouth hanging wide open until it mixed so completely with her drool that it all just slid right back out! I couldn't stop laughing!

We tried again today.. a little better. But she still doesn't quite know what to do with it! ;-)
Hopefully she'll learn to love it and we can all get a little more sleep around here. Waking up every two hours all night, every night is RIDICULOUS!!

I am thankful

I am thankful for my family. For a husband who was wiling to give up everything and transplant his family all on a desire to do and be better.

I am thankful for health, for my life, for my children's lives.

I am thankful for the spirit that guides and directs my life. For the happiness I find from living the gospel. I am thankful for a savior who gave his life that I might become better than I am.

I am thankful for all I have.

This year I have a lot to be thankful for. As I have thought about the things that are important to me I realize that it isn't my stuff, it isn't the things that surround me that are inanimate. It is the living, breathing people that fill my life with joy and it is the spiritual things that give my life meaning. I want to teach my children to be grateful for the same things.

I was disheartened as I entered a large department store the very day after Halloween to find that it was already Christmas inside. Thanksgiving had completely been overlooked, brushed aside, treated as if it didn't even exist. In fact, what little thanksgiving decor they have was already on sale! It doesn't make them the money they need, the money they have to have. I don't see Christmas there, I see greed.

This very reason is why I have decide to do a home made Christmas this year. All the presents will be handmade or found at a thrift store. I don't want my children to expect to have things just because its a certain day in December. I want them to be grateful for what they already have, to know the real meaning of the holiday and to think about Christ and all he has done for us, instead of how much stuff they have. Stuff that will be broken or discarded in only a matter of time.

Here is a video that I got off of my friends blog that I really liked. I am so tired of all the commercialism. What if we spent our time and our means to better the life of someone else? To help out a friend or a neighbor, or the world? What would it be like?

Have a wonderful safe and thankful thanksgiveing everyone!~

SassyFrass Kids is here!!

I am so excited to let you all know that my webiste for SassyFrass Kids is up and running! Well, almost. Its just a welcome/sign my newsletter page at the moment. But its sooo pretty! My bro did an awesome job designing my logo. He put a ton of time into it ( time he really didn't have!) and he put up with my confusion and pickiness. I appreciate it so much! So go, now, check it out and pass it on to your friends. Tell them how cool I am and so therefore the things I make must be cool as well!

Oh yeah!

update

Not much of one I am afraid. I am writing this one handed, baby in the other! She is such  a mommas girl!

1. I have decided to do a craft fair!
yes, I am quite excited. I decided since I keep spending all this money on cute stuff to sell, I might as well take it to the people!! Its in rathdrum on the 22nd of this month and its the main reason I have been a-wal. I have been sewing like a mad woman! Everything in my life has somewhat been on hold. Piles of laundry adorn every room in my house, toilets go unscrubbed, children stink, we starve..and yet, I sew on, in hopes of making a little mula to call my own. The sacrifices one must make...;-) My kids don't really stink, they do get baths every now and then. ;-)

2. Infant girl is seriously allergic to this rice cereal!
I tried it for the first time about a month ago and she was really fussy afterward. SHe had ben fussy a lot that week and I didn't really think anything of it until I tried to give it to her a second time a week or so later and she was so cranky and fussy and not sleeping. Well, then I began to suspect. I waited again about a week or so and I tried again last night. I made it super thin, thinking it may have been to thick for her little belly to handle the last time. Well, I put her down for a nap right after and she only slept for a few minutes and then woke up crying. I rocked her back to sleep and she was down for a while but woke up crying again. So I got her up and fed her. Imediatly after I feed her, she puked all of it up! I wondered if you could know the difference between spit up and actually vomiting..oh yea, you can. Poor girl. She just kept puking over and over, for a good while. It was just mucus by the end, which is a good sign of an allergy and the doctor just said to get rid of the stupid cereal and cut back on feeding times. by the end of the night she was way better and today she is great. I just couldn't believe it. I think it was the sunflower oil. What kind of crap do they put in that stuff? I hate to name names *cough*(beechnut) * cough* cough*.. I wonder if I can make my own?

( update on and update: I even tried a different brand, that was supposedly organic. No oils, preservatives, additives etc. She puked it all up and then some. I am so sad. I don't know why they would happen. any thoughts?)

3. I have some pretty cute pics to put up soon..so lok out for those. When I get a minute, I will post them..it might not be for a few weeks with my trck record! I will try!

faux food

So for a while now I have been super intrigued by an amazing craft idea that Im not sure too many people have seen or heard of.

Its felt food.

Its really actually pretty incredible what can be done with felt and velcro. I was thinking of making some little sets for my kids and possibly selling them on my site. If I ever get it up and running!
I was looking around today at a few sites that sold felt foods, to get some ideas, and I came across this one.  Its completely in chinese..or Japanese, Im not sure. But the woman is a total master. I couldn't believe some of the stuff she has come up with. The whole time I was looking around I was freaking out. It was pretty funny. The Man probably thinks I am insane.

" Thats great Ash, fake food...cool..." * eyes roll*

Anyway, you should all check it out. Especially you tatiana, you were wanting to make some too. And I totally love your idea of having a homemade Christmas. That sounds like so much fun. And a lot more true to the season. My kids have just started asking for things and saying, " I wish I had all of that!" We don't have a T.V, so they aren't too bad with it yet. But we do teach them to be grateful for what they do have!

If you guys come across any more ideas, maybe in english, or any cool books, let me know!!

Sometimes life calls for a little more balls..

(Sorry if the title offends, but it needed a little ooomph.)

I don't usually like to discuss politics or issues that I feel strongly about on public forums. Heck, I don't really like to do it in private either. I'm not very good with confrontation and I don't like to offend or upset people. I like us all to get along. ;-) But there are a few things I don't agree with and will say it to anyone, any time. The first is if any one messes with my kids or gets in the way of the things I believe and teach them to be right and true. I believe marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman. I don't believe that schools should teach our children anything that doesn't have to do with reading, writing or arithmetic's. You know what I mean.

I saw this video on my friends blog and like her, I really like the way this guy approaches the issue.

So here it is, my stance....take it or leave it.

(press pause on my music player first!)

Ashleighs first attempt...

At a pillowcase dress! =-)

It actually didn't turn out to bad considering its two inches shorter than its supposed to be and not quite wide enough to be considered a pillowcase dress. I'd say it was more of a pillowcase tunic...

I do give props to myself however because I measured it all out, ( I just forgot I needed to fold down the top a few times to make a casing for the ribbon, thats where I lost my two inches!) and my stiches were pretty darn straight and it actually fits! So yeah for me!

This one is really the size dress I would make for an 18-24 month old, but it works really great for a shirt in the 2t range.

It does need a little ironing though. And note to self...pinking shears.

I got gas...

At 2.60 a gallon last weekend!! Yeah!!!

Anyone else have any better prices?

Oct 16, 2008

And the Weiner is....

Ha Ha!

Sorry this is one day late, life is busy!

Anyway, thank you again all who participated . You all came up with brilliant ideas!
I have thought them all over carefully and I have finally decided on the name:

SassyFrass Kids
A little bit of sass, a whole lot of fun!

So that would make the winner:
The one and only Misses Zan Taylor!  YEA!!

Although, I must say its a little like cheating because she is so incredibly talented in her own crafty right and she just has an amazing gift for such things, so go check out her site for beautiful handcrafted goodness for your babies. Too cute for words!
So Zanadoo, email me your address and I will send you the cutest headband I can muster! You can let your girls wear it or steal it for yourself, or both! ;-)

I do have one more prize I want to hand out. I wasn't originally going to do this, but the name this girl came up with was so funny, I just kept laughing! ( Im even giggling to myself as I write...!)
So to Tatiana Townsend, who came up with the name:
Boobs and Bows!

Ha Ha Ha!!  Send me your address and I will send you a surprise!

Thanks to everyone again and keep your eye out for SassyFrasskids.com coming soon!

Oct 14, 2008

Wow!

What a response!  I want to thank everyone for their help. You guys came up with some awesome and creative names. I appreciate the support and participation!  I'm going to take all of the names now and seriously deliberate. ;-)

I will announce the winner tomorrow, so check back to see if its you! And to find out the next exciting step in Ashleigh's journey toward entrepreneurial success!!
You are all the best!

This is why I married him..

"hey, you can call it.."At Least Its Not Poop!!"

See why I desperately need your help? ;-)

Oct 11, 2008

Three more days..

Im feeling a little lull here ladies..any more ideas? Try some one word names, names with fruit in them, names that are crazy and off the wall, names that don't have the word " bow" in them...:-) I know you are all creative out there!!!

Oct 7, 2008

Contest time!

Alright ladies, I mentioned earlier that I am starting my own business and when you start your own business you have to have a really awesome name thats super cute and easy for everyone to remember. Unfortunatly, I can't think of one! ;-) Actually I can think of a ton, but none that I really like. And forget asking The Man for ideas:

Suggestion 1: How about "hair things?"
Me: Um no...
Suggestion 2: Ok, " headbands?"
Me: Obviously thats what they are..but not a very cute or catchy name. And thats not all I make, sooooo no..
Suggestion 3: Why don't you use the first letter of each of our kids names?
Me: SEL? Well, that is what I am trying to do, but I don't thinks so hun..thanks anyway...

He came up with a few more, but I will spare you the gruesome details!

So here's where you all come in. I am going to hold a contest to see who can come up with the best name for Ashleighs new business!  The winner will receive a handmade reversable headband thats super cute and made by me! Don't worry if you don't have any little girls, they are for adults and children! They look so good with a ponytail, when your hair is all done up, or just to stick in when you don't feel like doing it! Very versitile.

This one is pink on one side
And brown with pink and white flowers on the other side.
Pink polka dots and the other side is black with white polka dots.
So, here are the rules:

1. Leave a comment with your name ideas, you can leave as many as  you want.

2. At this time I am selling the headbands ( reversable) in three different sizes. The ones shown here are the 1 1/2 inch and the size you will win. They are made with soft grosgrain ribbon and stretchy hairbands , so they fit comfortably without sliding and are soft enough to wear all day without hurting your head! I am also selling interchangeable coordinating bows that can fit on the head band or can be worn alone. ( as shown in the first pic)  I will soon be selling little girl dresses, tutu onesies and little girl T's with interchangeable bows, nursing covers, and anything else cute I come across and might be able to make. So keep that in mind when thinking of names. ;-)

3. Anyone can play, even if you've never been to my site before! So tell your friends and have them tell theirs!

4. I will keep the contest open from now until the 14th. Thats one week, so think of as many names as possible!

5. Keep it short and sweet, no long complicated names please! An example of  this would be  "Supercalifradulisticexpialidotious Accessories!"  Woah..... And nothing " boutique" either, that sounds to stuffy for my taste, unless it really cute I guess. ( see why I am having a hard time? Maybe I am too picky..)  ;-)

6. Have fun and be creative!

The winner will get to pick any color scheme she ( or he I guess..) would like ( i.e red, green pink, brown etc..) and I can send picks of what I have in those colors. Or you can just trust me to make one for you, I will make it on the spot and send it off. I promise it will be absolutely adorable!

Good luck to everyone and thanks for your help!

Heaven is a posturepedic

Imagine, if you will, moving many, many times. Now envision in your mind spending hours and hours unpacking boxes, putting stuff away and dealing with three young children all at the same time.

Now think about the end of this long day, how tired are you? How utterly exhausted?  What more do you want to do than just lay down and go to sleep? And what would you like to lay down upon? What vessel would you choose to take your spent self in to happy, happy dreamland? Would, in any of your wild imaginings, you choose an air mattress?

 No?

Why ever not?

Because they are hard, cold, squeaky, very low to the ground and downright uncomfortable!

This, my friends, is what I have had to deal with every time we have moved since April of 2005.
We sold our bed (and pretty much everything else we owned) and moved to good old Alaska. After that its been air mattress city for at least the first month or so of living in a new place.

We've never bought a new bed, its always been borrowed. Weird did you say? Yes, but if you knew my husband then you would know that he could care less what he sleeps on, as long as it was cheap! ;-) Technically the air mattress we have been sleeping on was borrowed as well, so he has been quite happy. Until now.

These past few weeks have been bad for both of us. Back pain, neck pain, general all around grumpiness. All because of a bed made out of air.

I have a bad back anyway, its been that way since I can remember, so for me to sleep on such a thing was killing me! I convinced him we needed a real bed and we needed a nice one! One with support, one with bouncy coils, one that was soft!  So we started looking around. Now when I say looking around, I don't mean at a furniture store. Remember, my man likes a deal. So we searched Craig's list, garage sales, good will, pretty much anywhere that wouldn't be expensive. We looked forever!

Nothing.

One day The Mans mom called us up asking if we would be interested in a certain bed she had found at a garage sale. It was a queen sized, double pillow top, Sealy Posturepedic mattress with matching box spring. They had claimed it was two yeas old, that it only spent its time in the guest room, that it cost them a thousand dollars and that they flipped it every six months, religiously. They would take 225 for it.

Sold!

We were a little nervous at first, buying a used bed. You know..germs..ew. But it is so pretty, it doesn't even look like anyone has ever slept on it. It came in its original box even! We vacuumed and disinfected it and my friends it is seriously like laying on a cloud! It even inspired me to buy all new comfy, supportive pillows. (and cases and shams and sheets and a comforter, I know Im spoiled.) But,  I'm actually dreaming again, which means I'm getting that good deep sleep that has eluded me for so long! No pains, no tossing around, nothing at all really. I fall asleep and I don't wake up again until morning! ( well, at least until baby girl decides to wake up!)  It truly is heaven!  Not to mention the bonus of having a cute bed in my room again, one that I actually own! Hooray!

So here you go, pictures of my bed, because I am so in love with it!

But, would you eat it?

Go here to see what im talking about!

pee = tea

My daughter is the most stubborn little girl that I think has ever been created. I'm sure most mothers with little girls probably say the same about their own, but these last few months my child takes the cake.

Potty training. In our house,  it has become a four letter word. Little girl has REFUSED to do it. She would pee every now and then for treats, but soon discovered she could go a little, hold the rest in, get a treat and then go a little again, hold the rest in and get another treat. (Sometimes she is too smart for her own good.) We soon got rid of treats and tried bribing her with toys. We went to the dollar store and bought anything she picked out. We told her every time she pooped on the potty, she would get one. She was really excited about it, for about ten minutes. After that, she couldn't have cared less. No matter how much I coaxed and showed off the prizes, she would say, " no I don't want it" or " no, I don't need to."  So we gave up for a while. I knew that we were moving soon and a big disruption like that would probably mess everything up anyway. So we moved here and tried again. No dice.

We soon discovered it was a control thing. She couldn't control anything else in her life but when an where she went the bathroom! ;-) She had all the signs of being ready. She knew when she had to go, we would watch her all of the sudden stop what she was doing, quietly leave for another room and a few minutes later come back smelling a whole lot worse than when she left. She would never tell us if she did and if you know the craziness of a three child household you know that I can't always find the time too sniff her butt to see if something is amiss! I finally in desperation told her that if she would just go poop on the potty I would buy her anything in the whole world that she ever has wanted. She decided a tea set and a party would be quite right, thank you very much.

Which brings us to this week. One afternoon my friend brought Little girl back from playing at their house and said she thought Little girl might be trying to poop but was having a hard time with it. I didn't think much of it until a few minutes later she started crying and grabbing at her diaper. I thought it may be the beginnings of a diaper rash ( she gets those a lot!) but couldn't see any of the signs of one. I shrugged it off until later that night when she started  bloodcurdling screaming and freaking out. It continued on all night. Every now and then she would scream and shake and cry and we couldn't figure it out. I was crying right along with her. We decided to take her to the quick care and found out she had a urinary tract infection . Did you know you can get those at 2 years old? Well,  I guess you can. Poor girl.

Since then ( and after long repeated talks about how she wouldn't get rashes and infections if she would just go on the toilet..talks we have had for about half a year now) she has decided on her own that it might be better for us all if she started going on the potty! HOORAY!!!!

She has really picked it up and been doing so good. Yesterday she pooped twice ( which brought whoops and hollers of joy from The Man and I) and this morning we were off to the store to pick out her perfect tea set!  She is so in love with it and we have had a few parties together already today, with apple juice of course!

I know this post might seem a little gross, but I had to put it up. I am just so happy! :-)

( yea, a good smile!!)

DId someone say soccer mom?

Well, its happened. The cliche "soccer mom with mini van" stereotype has finally caught up with me. I don't actually have a mini van, but a suburban is close enough!

Seth started soccer this last week and he loves it. Its so funny to watch all the kids run around and try to get the ball. They don't keep score and they emphasize that its all about fun. Basically if you get it in the right goal your doing great!

He looks so cute in his uniform and he has the skinniest chicken legs! I love it!

I know its really fuzzy, but about one second after I took it, he scored a goal. I wasn't fast enough!

He couldn't leave the nets alone! He was so concerned that they weren't tied on right or something...

Sep 22, 2008

say cheeese!

No matter how I beg and plead with Little Girl, she just wont ever give me a good smile! She has the best smile and the most contagious giggle. However when I get out the camera, she either runs and hides ( thinking its funny..) or she gives me a huge scrunched up grimace face.  Its kind of funny...for about one minute! ;-) Its makes it kind of hard to get a good picture. Silly girl!

Hes the best big brother!

The Boy LOVES his little sisters. He is always asking me if he can hold baby girl or if he can help me with her in any way. He was the same way with little girl. And they love him back. Little Girl thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread and they are really good friends. He always wants to take pics with baby girl, so here are a few.

Oh how they grow

I can't believe it has already been almost three months since baby girl was brought into this world. It always amazes me how fast they grow in such a short time. She has gotten so chunky and absolutely LOVES to talk. She will sit and babble on forever, especially if you are babbling back. She is definitely her mothers daughter. ;-)

Sep 18, 2008

The Boy's last first day..

For those of you who don't know my son turned five this year. His birthday being the end of August,  technically qualifies him for kindergarten. However, in our all powerful and wise parental knowledge we decided to keep him back one more year. He is certainly smart enough to be in school and socially he excels. But emotionally, he needs a little growing. Since this decision I have debated whether or not I wanted to do something with him at home this year or find a preschool for him to attend. After having my  baby I have found out it isn't as easy to take care of three as I was dreaming! So I decided to let someone else take care of his Pre-K needs.

We just moved to town so it took me a while to find a place I liked and at a reasonable rate. (Come on people its preschool..not a private Ivy League prep school for the incredibly gifted..sheesh!)
Finally I found a little day school that he is just in love with. And at three days a week for three and a half hours, I am in love too! The monthly fee is a little high, but when your used to paying fifty bucks a month, anything else is expensive. ;-)

S here are some pictures of his last first day of preschool. I cannot believe how big he has gotten. He is just such a good lookin kid! ( he gets it from his dad!)

I love this picture..one forced smile and one blinded little girl.
We are trying to grow her bangs out!
He has to always make a funny face....
Hands up against the wall!!
Little Girls grimace face. This is her " CHEEEEEEESE!!" look.

Oh yea, so tough!

Sep 17, 2008

I cant decide who to vote for...

So I'm going with an independent...check it out!
( press pause on my music player first...) ;-)

Oh so cute

So I changed my blog up a bit..whadya think.?A little more mature and a whole lot less vain! That huge picture of me in the header was just a little too much. ;-) Check out the link to Leelous blog designs on the left..so cute!  She has a ton of free ones and they are all really stylish and chic! ( and so easy to install..unlike the last time I changed my blog and it erased everything!!) Anyway, thanks Heather for inadvertently  leading me to Leelou, your page is so cute!

And I have a ton of pics I need to post so I will get those up. Lyla is huge! ( and super chunky..) Seth started school and soccer and Eden never wants to smile..she just gives me a scrunched up, grimace face! Its funny!

Stay tuned.

Sep 12, 2008

ok, I love my imac..but I have no idea how to use it!

I want to post pics...but I don't know where to insert my memory card! ;-) Ha Ha. I will just have to ask The Man when he gets back.

Anyway, did I mention how much I LOVE being closer to home? Just this very afternoon we are taking a trip to cda. And how long is it going to take us? One hour and fifteen minutes. How long did it take us before? Seven hours or more depending on how many times Little Girl puked.
Oh heaven to be able to make a trip without vomit! And how cool is it that we can just take them spur of the moment?

Actually it isn't really spur of the moment, I am going home to pick up my NEW sewing machine! Technically it isn't "new. Its actually almost 30 years old.  ( hee hee hee) But its new to me. I found it on craigslist ( love that guys list!) and its a Sears Kenmore that was made in the early eighties. The guy told me that it had been in storage since 1988. Can you believe it?  just hangin out down in his basement. His wife died when his kids were about 10 he said and she had only used it once to make a set of curtains! His granddaughter had wanted to use it so they took it out of the basement, got it fully serviced and then she changed her mind. So I found it and bought it. Wanna know for how much?

40 bucks

And it comes with a whole book on sewing ( which I seriously need) My mother in law has one almost identical to it, and I have sewn on hers a million times before so I should be able to figure this one out. The only drawback is that it weighs a ton!! But that just means its sturdy right? I mean it has lasted for 28 years already......I can' wait to get started on all the projects I have had in mind forever!

wanna check it out? click here--> yea for my sewing machine!!

9/11 Where were you?

My family used to have this outdoor shed that was wired with electricity and had lights inside and all. We used it as a bedroom and at this particular time I was using it as my room. I had just graduated from highschool and was in transition from summer fun to oh crap I have to find a job now.
I was sleeping in when my mom came into the shed in tears. She woke me up and told me that something terrible had happened. I shot up and asked if everyone was alright, naturally assuming something had happened to a family member.  Everyone was fine of course, but as she told me a plane had crashed into the world trade center, in my mind I was like, " what is that, why is that a big deal? " ( I wasn't to concerned with world events, as you can tell..)  I followed her into the house where the tv was on and sat there for hours watching the screen, finally understanding, and crying. I couldn't believe something that that could ever happen and I was scared.
I remember hearing the presidents speech afterward about how we would come together as a nation and and overcome. I have never seen so many flags on houses and cars as I did then. Every time I saw one I would become an emotional mess and just cry.  ( not so convenient when you are tying to drive!)

I love this country and feel so blessed to live in a place where I have the freedoms and safety that I do. I am thankful for the men and women who put their lives on the line so that I have these things.

Who said I had time?

So I know I always post about how much more I am going to post,if that makes sense, but it seems to always be not quite the truth. I keep thinking, "oh Baby girl will be asleep here in about... never... and I will blog then." Of course then laundry calls and says its way overdue for a cleaning and my kitchen starts crying because she somehow got her nice floor dirty. While I try to deal with two things at once my bathroom decides to puke and I can't find a clean towel for the life of me..oh yea, they're all in the laundry.....

I finally have a minute

Wow, here we are. Finally! All moved in to our new apartment ( good old apartment life..how I have not missed you..) and feeling settled. The man just started classes and I am already a single mom, he's either in class, studying for class or job shadowing dentists to get into dental school for more classes! Always fun.

On a happier note we LOVE where we live. The complex has a large LDS population with tons of kids. Every person in my stair well is LDS and the girls are great! They are all really nice and friendly and that makes a huge difference in how the moving transition goes.  The Boy is in heaven with all his friends here and little girl is getting in on the action as well. I noticed all day yesterday how grown up my children are becoming. The Boy just looks like well..a little boy, no more baby fat on that one. He is skinny as a rail. And Little girl is getting taller and thinning out and getting farther away from my little baby everyday. I was sad and happy all at the same time. Lyla is getting huge! I forget how fast my babies pack on the fat. What a pudge, but it is so cute! ;-) She is smiling at you all the time now and I think she is right on the verge of laughing. I can't wait! I would post pictures but  my camera is MIA and I haven't been able to take any. Hopefully that will change soon. ( hint hint Kim!)

Now that we are here I will now be posting regularly again, for those three of you who actually read this...I know you are so ecstatic!  I missed writing....

One is the loneliest number...

WARNING!!

This post will be mushy...

As I have said, I am all alone here in Cda. The Man is back in Boise finishing up his job and getting our house ready for renters. ( which we finally found by the way, yes!) As of tomorrow I will have been without him for three whole weeks. The longest we have ever been apart.

I am undone.

I like to think of myself as a pretty independent person. I don't usually like to ask for help, thinking I can do it better on my own. I am stubborn. Strong willed. Bullheaded at times. I like my space. I need alone time every now and then.

I am ridiculous.

My life here without the man I love is too hard. Its stretches on forever with no hope of ending.Time stands still. The hours are filled with mundane activities. Robotic movements rule my body. My mind blank and uncooperative. Earlier statements of self- proclaimed fortitude and stall worthiness retracted. I am nothing without him. My heart hurts. My eyes are constant pools. I am cranky.

I am incomplete.

(can anyone tell I just finished " Breaking Dawn"? Yea..try that one all alone...)
