M.I.A
Sorry I have been missing in action lately. We have had a bad case of the sickies, and I got it the worst. We have recovered though and soon there will be more amazing posts for you to pour over, since I know how depressing it can be without your daily dose of Ashleigh...

The matching game
So in an earlier post I had mentioned making a few homemade games with the kids. We went out that very next day and purchased all the stuff to make two different ones. One is a matching game with the faces of our family. Here is the finished product: ( minus a set of grandparents I still have to do!)
The second game is kind of like pick up sticks, but not. I can't find any better way to describe it! Maybe a little like Ker-plunk? Anyway, here is a picture of its progress:
Here is a link to how it is supposed to work:
Although, the more I have looked at that game the more I think my dowels are too fat... I did get a pack with all different sizes originally, but thought it wasn't right. Yes, It even says it on the zrec's page, "sticks of three different diameters", Darn! Oh well, I still have that original pack. Good thing I didn't get very far! ;-)
If you want instructions to make either of these games check out Chasing Cheerios. I love it there! Have fun!
