Bucket Couture

The last two days have been so nice. The kids were out yesterday playing with their friends for over 5 hours! It was a miracle! Today we went out again and Baby Girl found a gorgeous bucket hat to sport around while hunting for snails. I thought it was sooooo funny and couldn't stop laughing. Every time she heard me though, she got her trade mark dirty look out and said" not funny mommy!" Which of course made me laugh even harder!

Not funny mommy! :)

Dance like no one is watching

I was putting away some laundry in the kids room today (yes, all three of them share one room..ah the joys of apartment living and wait lists..) and I called Little Girl to come and get ready for school. She happily bounded up the stairs, singing a little song to herself. As she walked into the bedroom her feet suddenly started to dance. She twirled around and around with her hands over her head, darting back and forth, skipping, shaking, smiling and giggling. "Mom" she said in between pirouettes, blonde hair flying in her self made breeze, "today is a wonderful day to dance..."

I smiled to myself, watching her impromptu recital, wishing she could always stay this small and full of joy. It is she that reminds me of the best things in life, to see the happiness in all things and to every now and then, stop and dance to your own music.

Every day is a wonderful day to dance....

Congrats!

The Man just found out today that he scored in the 96th percentile on his Organic Chemistry final! Woohoo! Also, he pulled of A's in both Organic Chemistry and physiology (both seriously hard classes that I do not envy that he had to take!)

 A-mazing! This puts his overall science GPA at at least a 3.8 if not higher, which is incredibly competitive for getting into an awesome dental school!

Good job babe, I am so proud of you! Huge victories like this sure make the sacrifices we made all worth it. You are the smartest, most driven man I have ever known! Doing all that while continuing to be an amazing father and husband is an even bigger accomplishment. You continue to inspire me every day!

Now, on to the biggest mother of a test ever! He takes the DAT at the end of June, and we cannot wait until its over! :)

No rest for the handsome weary. :)

The best thing for a great marriage!

So...I was browsing the internet today and came across something that I think will change the face of marriage forever! Because of this one item, divorce rates should be completely eradicated! Couples will actually enjoy their time together in bed! I know this would make a huge difference in my relationship......

Sorry I haven't been around for the last little while! School is finally out and I am taking a little -but much needed- blog break! Loving on my babies and reconnecting with The Man! I will be back very soon!
